Thanks for everyone's suggestions, but it's just not working. I recently installed the new 2.0.30-dev with PHP and ssl. All working nicely. And I tried again. http://digitalroadkill.net:8080/Galleries OK. Try this; TELNET digitalroadkill.net 8080 GET /Galleries HTTP/1.1 Host: digitalroadkill.net:8080 I recieve; HTTP/1.1 301 Moved Permanently Date: Wed, 02 Jan 2002 21:06:48 GMT Server: Apache/2.0.30-dev (Unix) mod_ssl/3.0a0 OpenSSL/0.9.6c Location: http://digitalroadkill.net:8080/Galleries/ Content-Length: 334 Content-Type: text/html; charset=iso-8859-1

301 Moved Permanently

Moved Permanently

The document has moved here.

Apache/2.0.30-dev Server at digitalroadkill.net Port 8080

On a whim, I tried HEAD; HTTP/1.1 301 Moved Permanently Date: Wed, 02 Jan 2002 21:07:59 GMT Server: Apache/2.0.30-dev (Unix) mod_ssl/3.0a0 OpenSSL/0.9.6c Location: http://digitalroadkill.net:8080/Galleries/ Content-Type: text/html; charset=iso-8859-1 So checking /Galleries/ with HEAD; HTTP/1.1 200 OK Date: Wed, 02 Jan 2002 21:08:32 GMT Server: Apache/2.0.30-dev (Unix) mod_ssl/3.0a0 OpenSSL/0.9.6c Accept-Ranges: bytes X-Powered-By: PHP/4.1.1 Content-Type: text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1 and finally GET; HTTP/1.1 200 OK Date: Wed, 02 Jan 2002 21:09:37 GMT Server: Apache/2.0.30-dev (Unix) mod_ssl/3.0a0 OpenSSL/0.9.6c Accept-Ranges: bytes X-Powered-By: PHP/4.1.1 Content-Length: 1239 Content-Type: text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1

Emily, Katherine, and Austin

Emily, Katherine, and Austin
Photo Galleries

Available Galleries

Emily1_Gallery
Emily_Near_Birth
Emily_Almost_1
Emily_First_Birthday
Katherine_Raissle
Nearly_One
Easter_2001
Thanks_Giving_2001
Dec8_Gallery
Dec9_Gallery
Dec10_Gallery
Emily_Suitecase
Christmas_2001

E-Mail Me if you have problems.

I see nothign wrong. I now [very strongly] suspect your browser has cached an invalid redirection. Finally, I tried IE> http://digitalroadkill.net:8080/Galleries and was redirected to http://digitalroadkill.net:8080/Galleries/ So this is most certainly a caching problem for your browser, and you resolved the misconfiguration :) Bill
