Thanks !.. I thought about submitting the changes to OpenSSL - but then
OpenSSL is in the process of coming out with version 0.9.7 - so I thought
it'd be better to wait for the release and then see if we'll have to submit
it there. 
I'm trying to consolidate all the other places where the data-structure
members are referred to directly - 'will be submitting a patch soon.

BTW, this set of changes actually help during the compilation of mod_ssl
with RSA SSL-C toolkit. If there's any other toolkit that ppl. are using,
pl. do let me know - I'll atleast try to make sure that the build of mod_ssl
will not be broken with that toolkit.

looks great to me, applied to cvs.  might be worth submitting those macros
back to OpenSSL and put #ifndefs or similar around the current ones.
