In order to hold the console open for Netware, how about
define EX_OK 0
ifdef netware
define EX_DISPLAY_OK 1
else
define EX_DISPLAY_OK EX_OK
endif
Stuff like httpd -V would use EX_DISPLAY_OK as the exit status.
