Thanks! Sounds like an interesting idea at all. I'll take a closer look at it.
First point (after starring about 30 secs onto the code) -- please avoid C++
(and C99?) comments (//). Some compilers don't like them. Other stuff later...

mails here are rejected at 100k or so. So 60k is a good size to put it elsewhere
