On pre-XP it behave like before, but on XP it has visual style like all XP
applications, meaning ronuded buttons, etc...
Without it, on XP the app. looks like WIN3.X app on WIN95 for example.
So it's just cosmetic (look and feel), and it doesn't influence the way the
app is displayed on other platforms.
The patch adds so called manifet that XP seeks in every .exe that he starts,
and enables those fancy styles.

This is quite good documented in MSDN.
