hi folks,
probably some of you've noticed, that we're developing our own mpm (http://www.metux.de/mpm/) which runs several vhosts under their own uid. It uses a multiplexer child for receiving the requests from the clients and directing it to the right processor child through socket-passing. currently we're using multiple threads both on multiplexer and processor side, but due some MT problems we're thinking to switch way from that to multiprocessing. what would you think - does MT bring real performance benefits over MP ? cu -- --------------------------------------------------------------------- Enrico Weigelt == metux IT services phone: +49 36207 519931 www: http://www.metux.de/ fax: +49 36207 519932 email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] cellphone: +49 174 7066481 --------------------------------------------------------------------- -- DSL-Zugang ab 0 Euro. -- statische IP -- UUCP -- Hosting -- ---------------------------------------------------------------------
