This is rather difficult to do in bugzilla, I believe.
Bugzilla has some... interesting design decisions in its schema. Stuff like these component names is used as foreign keys instead of being fully orthogonalized. This makes it hard to rename stuff like this since it has to be done across multiple tables.
I used to maintain a Bugzilla installation in a previous life and for changes like this I would go straight to MySQL... rather than do it through the GUI (if such were possible) and send out hundreds of e-mails...
Oh and if we need some doing on the ASF Bugzilla install I may be able to help out, or at least point to something for the people that got root to poke at.
