Hi all,

starting with Apache 2.0.50 I tried to use mod_cache / mod_disk_cache to cache
responses from a Tomcat in the backend on the front web server. Several bugs
(most in mod_disk_cache) prevented me from doing so in a straight forward
manner. So I wrote some patches that fixed these issues and wrote appropriate
bug reports / added comments to existing bug reports in bugzilla. The bug
numbers are

21492
30278
30419
31385

and

23687/30399 which is more an Enhancement than a bug.

As these bugs are still contained in the brand new Apache 2.0.52 I would like
to see them fixed in a future version (maybe 2.0.53 ??) because

1. I think other people could benefit from these fixes as well and some of
them are really annoying (not just for my case) like 30278 and 21492 or
   31385 introduced with Apache 2.0.51.
2. I am a lazy person who does not like to adjust the patches to new versions
   of Apache ;-)).

So my question now is: Can I do anything else apart from the things I already
did (create / comment reports in bugzilla, add patches) to help these bugs
getting fixed?
I know that the developer resources are short, so if there is something I
can do from my side for fixing these bugs please let me know.

Regards

Rdiger
