It seems like we are... We aren't sending an E-Tag for messages, but
thats a small/easy improvement.
My appologies. I was testing with a HEAD request and your recent
changes mean that HEAD requests don't actually send the same response
headers as GET requests. Obviously this is a problem, but probably not
an extremely serious one.
