Just a thought... Wouldn't it be possible to solve this by extending HTTP to support something similar to STARTTLS from IMAP/SMTP? Ie. instead of submitting: GET / HTTP/1.0 Host: foobar.tld browser would do: STARTTLS foobar.tld <encrypted comm> Ondrej. -- Ondrej Sury <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
