Require seems to be the confusing part. At least it confused whoever is responsible for the ambiguity in "Require group" and the complexity of file-group. But more directly to the point, how do you propose to implement Satisfy/Allow/Deny in Require syntax. "Require client-ip" could give "Order Deny,Allow/Deny from All/Allow from client-ip", but how do you generalise that? -- Nick Kew
