Are you sure that even with the patch a failover is done? My observations are, having applied your patch, using stickysession=JSESSIONID and having a session and ist cookie: - without status=d, failover is working. But: I get at least 1/100 of traffic/requests which is not intended. -> It appears to me be a sufficient and easy solution if it was allowed to say "loadfactor=0" (implying that it gets requests if it is the only worker not in error state..) - what do you think? - with status=d, failover does not work, saying [error] proxy: BALANCER: (balancer://mycluster). All workers are in error state -> but one is in error state, the other is disabled.. The fact, that failover works without status=d makes me think that my config is OK..
