Thanks for the quick response. So does that mean I have to live with this as long as I use 2.0. Is there some way I can get this into 2.0.

Yes, Apache 2.0 doesn't have any way to remove listeners on a restart
like that, you need to use Apache 2.2 which will do a close listeners as
required upon restarts.
