I'm not sure I'm comfortable with the directory location ("proxy")
and the names ("checker"|"comarea") being hardcoded... And
creating the directory is also somewhat unsettling as well
since it's a "normal" directory that "should" exist. It would
be like Apache pre-creating the "logs" directory... :/
