The issue mentioned in the thread

for Solaris. But I have seen a similar behavior on Linux as well. Does
this mean a similar limitation exists on Linux as well ? Does it have
to do with the implementation of fcntl on these platforms and the only
way to get around it is to use pthread or other such supported
AcceptMutex/SSLMutex alternatives ?

Would appreciate any insights on this.
