Subversion and other projects generate makefile.in/makefile.win inputs from master source lists. E.g. on apr, apr-util we have build.conf files (the unfinished thought in my prior message), which can be used to create any arbitrary platform's IDE build schema from a common file list. So there are certainly ways we can craft any build IDE's project files from common inputs used also for the unix builds. It's important that we avoid fragmenting into four, five or six different build schemas that can and will fall out of sync and interfere with clean releases. > I personally like dsp/dsw's since they are much easier to read and edit even > though I have pretty much retired my VC6.
