I read a few days ago an article on LWN about SO_REUSEPORT socket
option. (http://lwn.net/Articles/542629/)
I found an interesting presentation from Google which describe the
mechanism, and its advantages.

As far as I've read, this option is "not standard" but latest Linux
kernel releases support it.
I've not seen anything in Apache about it and I was wondering if it
could be interesting and if it could be used in our threading models ?
Has anyone already tried to use it ? Any feedback or benchmark ?
