Regarding https://bz.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=66597 I am unable to figure out what is going wrong there.
It seems mod_proxy_fcgi is not de-chunking request bodies and collecting them raw. Which *should* also be problematic in HTTP/1.1, but I have no test setup to verify this, really. - Stefan
