Could not find it in the change log.

Sorry, I can't reproduce this effect since I don't have a local domain controller (or LDAP instance) to test against.

We now  ship httpd with the 68 one, works fine.

We had a resynch with trunk on this module to pick up a long series of commits that had never been ported.
We'd need a backtrace from windbg/cdb or mod_backtrace output (https://github.com/trawick/httpd-diag-mods). Both requires symbols for everything loaded to be reliable.

Copying mod_authnz_ldap.so from 2.4.68 it is working Again.

From the report :

We're not doing anything knowingly weird or complicated with LDAP auth, just stuff like:

Code:
Authtype basic
AuthBasicProvider ldap
LDAPReferrals Off
AuthLDAPBindDN [our ldap user]
AuthLDAPBindPassword [our ldap password]
AuthLDAPURL "ldaps://our.domain/OU=ourOU/sAMAccountName?sub?(objectClass=User)"
require valid-user
