Hello all, At the moment, Hudi master is using Java 8. Upgrading to a higher Java version, like Java 11 or Java 17, would enable us to take advantage of some useful features. As we consider this move, should we drop support for Java 8 in Hudi 1.0? I’d love to hear your thoughts. Are there any compelling reasons to maintain support for Java 8? Please chime in your thoughts.
