@vinothchandar , @yihua , about DSv2, I propose not to include this task for 1.2 release scope. I would say that milestone at 1.2 release would be POC implementation (draft PR) with benchmark results, and full design of corresponding RFC with writer path considering V1 and V2. And then, proper review could possibly take a lot of time, for instance, review of S[park 4 support](https://github.com/apache/hudi/pull/12772) took about 7 months (from Feb to Sep). So, optimistic scenarios, it to prepare production ready functionality for 1.3 release. In negative scenarios it will take more depending on RFC design feedback.
