The Apache Hudi team is pleased to announce the release of Apache Hudi 1.1.2.
Apache Hudi (pronounced Hoodie) stands for Hadoop Upserts Deletes and Incrementals. Apache Hudi manages storage of large analytical datasets on DFS (cloud stores, HDFS, or any Hadoop FileSystem compatible storage) and provides the ability to query them. This release comes approximately 10 months after 1.1.1. It includes 19 backported pull requests, bringing reliability fixes and performance improvements. Highlights include improved Flink streaming write recovery and checkpoint handling, faster coordinator operations, better write buffer memory management, and improvements to timeline handling and compaction planning. For details on how to use Hudi, please look at the quick start guide <https://hudi.apache.org/docs/quick-start-guide/>.
