Ant task for generating Ibatis artifcats does not retain the changes made in

I have the ibatis artifacts created through Abator.
I made some changes to model and sqlmap manually. I added few new fields to the
model and added custom query in sqlmap.
When i regenrate the artifacts using ant task, it does not retain the java
changes it does retain the sqlMap changes.
If i regenreate using Abator eclipse pulgin , it works fine. It retains both
the java and sqlMap changes.
