Highlights: - Congratulations to new committers Jingsong Lee and OpenInx! - Flink and MR read paths apply row-level deletes (thanks Junjie!) - Hive supports 3.x and can create and drop tables (thanks Marton Bod and Peter Vary!) High-level discussion: - Aiming to get the 0.10.0 release candidate out this week (done!) - Also aiming to get a release out next month - Good discussion about new catalogs for Glue and Nessie - Starting work on other format v2 issues so we can finalize the spec with row-level deletes - Parquet page skipping is implemented, please check out the PR Thanks, everyone! -- Ryan Blue Software Engineer Netflix
