For versions, I'm not a big fan generally speaking because LICENSE/NOTICE can change from a version to another For permissive dependencies (like BSD/MIT), it's important to specify the version of the dependency as licenses sometimes change as product versions change. For Apache license, for completeness it is useful to list the products and their versions, as is done for products under other licenses. So, it's acceptable to remove versions to ALv2 dependencies, but not for other licenses. Honestly, it took me 10mn to check versions and licenses. I think the release manager can do that (with the help of a tool).
