Hi everyone, +1 to JB’s proposal — we fully support the idea of hosting Iceberg Summit 2026 in Europe in addition to NA.
We’ve been organizing multiple Iceberg-focused meetups across Europe and have consistently seen strong attendance and enthusiasm from the community. There’s clearly a growing and highly engaged user base here. Many attendees specifically asked for a European summit — not only to get a deeper understanding of Iceberg, but also to exchange ideas, learn from real-world implementations, and connect with fellow practitioners. A dedicated event in Europe would be an excellent way to meet this demand and further grow the ecosystem. Happy to help make this happen.
