Hi all,

Based on recent discussion about Slack plugins [1], I'd like to request
adding the *Giphy* app to our Slack workspace.

*What I want to add:*Giphy [2] — the official Giphy integration for Slack
that allows users to search and share GIFs using the /giphy command.

*Why I want to add it:*GIFs can help make conversations more fun and
expressive, and are a nice way to celebrate wins, welcome new community
members, or lighten the mood in discussions. Many open source communities
use Giphy to add a bit of personality to their Slack workspaces.
(I like gifs.)

*What permissions does it need:*
- Post messages to channels (to share the selected GIF)
- Add a slash command (/giphy)
- The app does not read message history or access private channels unless
explicitly invited.
Note that it's an official Slack app, i.e. app was made by Slack

Let me know if there are any concerns!

Thanks,
Kevin Liu
