Hey folks, just wanted to start a thread on this change https://github.com/apache/iceberg/pull/15115 . The spec already defined partition stats commit update types, but forgot to include the references to these types in the TableUpdate, which leads to some unexpected problems for generated clients etc.
This just looks to have been an oversight on the original PR, and should probably just be treated as a spec correction which should not require a vote. I just wanted to call it out on the dev list in case there are any objections, otherwise I'll just go ahead and merge the PR in a few days. Thanks, Amogh Jahagirdar
