Thanks for finding and raising this. Given we’re early in the RC vote and 
encryption is one of the big changes going out, it makes sense to fail this 
vote and do another RC round.

I’d appreciate if folks can get that PR 
#3236<https://github.com/apache/iceberg-rust/pull/3236> attention so we can 
merge it in, and we can backport in good time to send out RC3. Thanks all!

Thanks for driving the release Danny, I was testing the RC today and realized I 
didn't implement the tamproofing checks for the encryption work which makes the 
files unreadable in Java. I have a fix up
