GitHub user amuldotexe edited a comment on the discussion: Iggy Connector Ecosystem Tracking
One thing that may help connector contributions is a very small behavior section in each connector PR. Maybe just 4 questions: 1. How do we know what this connector has already read or written? 2. At what exact point do we call a message successfully handled? 3. If the connector fails or restarts, what can be replayed, duplicated, or lost? 4. What is the smallest test that checks this? Feels like a lot of connector review comments end up being about this boundary, not the crate layout. What do you think? How should we proceed on something like this?
