The Project Management Committee (PMC) for Apache Ignite has invited Ivan Pavlukhin to become a committer and we are pleased to announce that he has accepted. Ivan contributes a lot into community development by being very active on the user and dev lists. He already implemented a lot of stuff in Apache Ignite, mostly around MVCC component, including the contribution of deadlock detector for MVCC caches which was a research and development effort. Being a committer enables easier contribution to the project since there is no need to go via the patch submission process. This should enable better productivity.
