Hi Folks, Thank you, it would be a great honor for me to serve in this role. And I really surprised by this community decision (other PMC members have a huge contribution to the project in different aspects and they all deserve recognition).
But it is a little bit early for congrats since the ASF Board appoints new Chair. It is an advisory decision of project PMC who will be the next Chair. AFAIK next Board meeting is scheduled for November 20. Let's wait for their decision first.
