Our community delivered six Ignite releases: 2.12, 2.13, and 2.14 [1] 3.0 Alpha 4, 3.0 Alpha 5, and 3.0 Beta 1 [2] Also, our community released eight Ignite Extensions and modules: AWS Extension 1.0.0 Azure Extension 1.0.0 GCE Extension 1.0.0 Spring Data Extension 2.0.0 Spring Session Extension 1.0.0 & 2.0.0 Zookeeper Ip Finder Extension 1.0.0 Python thin client (Pyignite) 0.6.0 Spark Module 2.0.0 & 3.0.0 We have five new committers and three new PMC members [3]. Let’s once again celebrate them: Pavel Pereslegin, Committer Alexander Lapin, Committer Vladislav Pyatkov, Committer Petrov Mikhail, Committer Kirill Tkalenko, Committer Ivan Daschinsky, PMC member Slava Koptilin, PMC member Taras Ledkov, PMC member Eighty developers contributed their time and experience to promote project visibility and encourage adoption by developers. The community hosted two Ignite Summit events [6], one in June and one in November. Experts from companies like Bloomberg, Expedia, Crux, and iFood presented 22 talks and, thus, shared their expertise with more than 1,000 developers.
