Aardvark is a mix of honey pots, content matching and (somewhat) naïve bayesian spam filtering that should catch the bulk of bad content creators on JIRA. While it's definitely going to catch some bad guys, it might also cause some good ones to get blocked, so if your comments or new issues suddenly cause a 403 response, please to let us know and we can investigate in detail. We expect to enable the new scanner at around 11pm UTC tonight, and will run the test for 2-3 days to see whether it works as intended (and then figure out if we'll make it permanent).
