Tried building the DEB and RPM packages by ./buildall.sh -noclean -notests -release -package
It works on Ubuntu but fails on CentOS7 and Redhat8. Filed https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/IMPALA-13742 Not sure if this should be a blocker. But it'd be nice to fix it.
