Originally I didn’t know if any other Apache project was using DITA XML as its doc source format. Upon closer inspection, I see that Apache Derby is using DITA:
https://db.apache.org/derby/manuals/dita.html I’ll expect to use the broad outlines of their setup as a model, for example the instructions on setting up the authoring toolchain and running doc builds. (We’ll likely do some of our own styling for the HTML output.) John
