### Description
Update the stop script to make sure the process stops completely.
`shutdown.sh` for the manager:
```
if [[ -z "$PID" ]]; then
echo ${APPLICATION} was already stopped
else
echo ${APPLICATION} running with PID ${PID}, begin to stop...
kill -9 ${PID}
echo ${APPLICATION} stopped successfully
fi
```
