I've prepared and tested the spec file for the Mandrakelinux distribution integration (similiar to suse/redhat-menus). And now, when I compare my specfile (hand made) with the spec files in the CVS (suse/redhat), there are differences. I can handle this differences without any problem, but, please, can you point me to any place where I can find the way how is the RPM package created from the CVS? I would like to prepare the specfile for the CVS commit and I need to test it in the auto build process.
See for example sysui/desktop/redhat/makefile.mk (similar for suse). It all happens there. A few variables are substituted (for branded icon sets), the buildroot area is populated and then rpm[build] -bb is invoked.
