Hi all

I've just completed a build of m77 and generated .debs from it.

openofficeorg-calc-1.9.77-linux-2.6-intel.deb
openofficeorg-core01-1.9.77-linux-2.6-intel.deb
openofficeorg-core02-1.9.77-linux-2.6-intel.deb
openofficeorg-core03-1.9.77-linux-2.6-intel.deb
openofficeorg-core04-1.9.77-linux-2.6-intel.deb
openofficeorg-core05-1.9.77-linux-2.6-intel.deb
openofficeorg-core06-1.9.77-linux-2.6-intel.deb
openofficeorg-core07-1.9.77-linux-2.6-intel.deb
openofficeorg-core08-1.9.77-linux-2.6-intel.deb
openofficeorg-draw-1.9.77-linux-2.6-intel.deb
openofficeorg-graphicfilter-1.9.77-linux-2.6-intel.deb
openofficeorg-impress-1.9.77-linux-2.6-intel.deb
openofficeorg-javafilter-1.9.77-linux-2.6-intel.deb
openofficeorg-math-1.9.77-linux-2.6-intel.deb
openofficeorg-spellcheck-1.9.77-linux-2.6-intel.deb
openofficeorg-testtool-1.9.77-linux-2.6-intel.deb
openofficeorg-writer-1.9.77-linux-2.6-intel.deb
openofficeorg-xsltfilter-1.9.77-linux-2.6-intel.deb

So, openofficeorg-core has been replaced by core0[1-8]. What for? Well, the
commit message is the only documentation I have..

2005/01/21 15:12:18 is 1.7.2.1: #118620# splitting the core module

And, that's not in IZ. So I am none the wiser. Anyway, back to the issue in
hand:

There are various problems which I have filed issues for with the new layout.
Looking through the filelists it seems that all core0[1-8] packages should be
installed, but there are missing package dependencies (#42530). There are
two files that are duplicated (#42531 and #42532) and the core01 postinst
script produces errors (#42535).

Apart from the last problem which could be due to rpm/deb differences, all
others should be reproducible on all linux platforms. Is there something
missing from the QA process that should be picking these sorts of errors up?

Chris
