answer yes to "transfer personal file"

"Transfer personal file" is intended for transferring personal settings and data from an existing installation of OOo 1.1.x.

We don't support automated migration of personal data from non-release versions, i.e. between development versions or from Beta to a later or final version.

You may try to manually make the new version use your existing personal data. This is not guaranteed to work in all cases or for all data, because this data may change incompatibly between development milestones. But I believe that such changes have become rare since Beta, so that there is a good chance this will work between recent (m8x, m9x, m1xx) milestones. If there are problems, you may try to selectively remove parts of the old data (start with files that only cache data, e.g. in subdirectory user\registry\cache).

The personal data is stored in directory
'C:\Documents And Settings\<userid>\ApplicationData\OpenOffice.orgXXX\'.
Please note that 'ApplicationData' is a hidden directory, so you may not be able to simply browse there in the Windows Explorer.

To reuse the old data you can rename or copy that directory to match the new version.

Alternatively you can change the bootstrap.ini file in the program directory of your office installation. The directory used for personal data is specified in the UserInstallation=... line.

You should do either of these changes before you first start the new version, otherwise you may need to get rid of the automatically created new directory.

create a calc file
tools - macros - organize macros - basic
empty content in "my macros" library
The content of "my macros" in 1.9.95 is not transferred.

Does any one know in which directory and file the "my macros" is stored?

I believe that is in the user\basic subdirectory of the personal data directory.
