Myself and the other 100 or so linux users at our institute who don't have root on our linux boxes cannot install OO betas. Sysadmins here will not permit widespread installation of beta software so this isn't a solution either. Bring back the tarball installation method please! Shoehorning OO distribution into a RPM-only distribution format for Linux is a poor/shortsighted idea IMO.
