Hi Peter,
I cannot reproduce your problem. The quickstarter is removed during the
deinstallation process. There are two custom actions you can find in the
table "InstallExecuteSequence" of the msi database, which are executed
during deinstallation process. One is for shutting down the
quickstarter, another one removes the link in autostart folder
(qslnkmsidll and sdqsmsidll).
Regards
Ingo

Hi,
preparing a automated network installation, I noticed, that the
quickstarter was not removed with msiexec /qn /x from the autostart menu.
So, with installing 2.0.1 and 2.0.2. and so on will we have a lot of
these links in the autostart-folder (OpenOffice.org 2.0.lnk,2.0.1.lnk?
You can't tell the user to uncheck this option in his profile, because
the user isn't aware of any update process.
Regards
Peter
