yes, exactly that happens. You get an installation where you can
immediately start "soffice". It is especially useful for testing purposes.
This is indeed extremely useful. May I assume that the entire tree is
relocatable as usual so I may move/copy it to a different location?
yes it is
but what about user directory ?
what does program/bootstraprc file contain for UserInstallation entry ?
