Hi all, I am not seeing a lot of activity on this project in the last few months. I would like to start a discussion on whether or not to dissolve the PMC and move the project to the Attic. This doesn’t necessarily mean that the project cannot re-emerge at a future time as an ASF project. It would be shelved in the attic for now. The source code would still be available under the Apache license as is the case with many open source projects. Perhaps a community will emerge in the near future and we the project can be moved back to the ASF podling process.
On the other hand if you want to keep the project moving forward as a podling project and you feel you have the time to volunteer please respond to this thread explaining how you can help. I am proposing that we discuss the Attic question for a few days and based on the feedback we either 1) Have enough volunteers to move this forward as a podling project or 2) We conduct a vote to dissolve the PMC and move the project to the Attic I look forward to your feedback.
