Hi all,

My name is Jiaye Wu. I am now a master student of Fudan University, and
will join Microsoft and work for Azure Database next year.

IoTDB is a great project, which fills the gap in IoT industrial field. I
have involved in the development for more than two years, and participated
in several modules, e.g. TsFile C++ format, TsFile-Impala integration,
TsFile-Spark connector, KV-match integration, Grafana connector, etc.
Although some of them are deprecated and some of them are still
experimental, we will work together to improve them.

In the near future, I will mainly focus on the integration of KV-match on
IoTDB. It is an efficient time series subsequence matching approach
supporting normalization and time warping, which will be presented on ICDE
2019. When designing this research algorithm, I may have less consideration
for engineering implementation. So the challenge is how to adapt to this
complex database system, e.g. memory management, index building
opportunity, trade-offs between efficiency and stability, etc.

I will make more contributions for IoTDB, and hope it becomes better.

Best,
Jiaye
