For all of you coming to ACNA, I would suggest you come to my "From the Idea to TLP" talk as I will explicitly talk about this process. How we observed things in the PLC4X project and how important, but also how rewarding it can be. So IoTDB will become a mature OS Project if we manage to have a strong and sustainable community backing it. We have seen what can happen in the Edgent project, where IBM (which was the ONLY driving force behind the project) suddenly stepped back. The project fell into paralysis. So in some sense, in such a podling, you have to work and document as if you want to make yourself replaceable. Just my thoughts. It’s OK too talk about the project elsewhere, and I know it may be hard for some people to converse in English, but any discussions on direction or decisions need to happen to this list / be brought back to this list so that everyone can be involved in the discussion.
