I think this discussion actually belongs to dev and not to private ;-)

But I agree having recordings is cool, but I also think perhaps some people are 
then hesitant to join.

Hm.. a long-term saved video online may brings some privacy concerns for some 
attendees (not all people like their voice can be got online..).
I think keeping the meeting minutes detailed enough is a better solution.
