The data collected by users may be a batch of data points. In order to improve the writing efficiency, we generally need to use insertrecords or inserttablet, which is still a little complicated for users. They need to organize the data according to our settings.
For users, the cost of using insertrecord interface is relatively low. But it is not conducive to improving the write throughput, because I suggest that we provide an interface to cache user data for a period of time to improve the write throughput. This interface can specify how long to cache data and how many pieces of data, which can help users improve the efficiency of writing. You can refer to the enablebatch interface of influxdb. influxdata/influxdb-java: Java client for InfluxDB (github.com) Chao Wang BONC, Ltd [email protected]
