Hi folks,

So, for the last weeks I have literally been working my ass off with 80+ hours
per weeks, so we have something to show at the SPS in Nürnberg.

Now the last thing I needed to finish this task was to have one change built
and SNAPSHOTs with that being deployed, however I see no way on earth I’ll be
able to do this.

Jenkins (the one deploying the SNAPSHOTS) has been red for over 8 days now and
in GitHub I’ve been going back in the history of the commits and even after a
full month have I not seen a green build.

I think if we don’t pay attention to what the CI/CD servers are trying to tell
us, we should probably turn them off.

I remember that someone proposed to redirect the CI/CD emails to another list,
because they were annoying. Redirecting them is the worst thing we could have
done, and I think I pointed that out then. The real approach would have been to
make sure the build doesn’t fail so often. Fix flaky tests, make the build more
robust.

Well guess I’ll be faking a working application by hiding my mac-book in the
shelf under the demo.

Just had to get this off my chest, :-(

Chris
