Hi Yongzao,

My name is Karthik, I'm a software engineer and open source contributor
currently working on projects like Turso (libSQL). I came across the IoTDB
GSoC 2026 project for TPU compatibility and SOTA time series model
integration, and it really aligns with the work I want to do.

I have a preliminary draft of my proposal ready and wanted to reach out
before refining it further. I have some background in Python, PyTorch, and
ML pipelines, and I've been reviewing the AINode documentation and the
existing Timer/Chronos model integration to get a feel for the codebase.

I wanted to ask how you'd like to proceed - is there anything specific
you'd want to see in the proposal, or any part of the project you think is
most critical to get right? And if there's a good first issue or area in
the codebase I should start with to get familiar, I'd love to know.

Looking forward to hearing from you!

Best,
Karthik
